INTERNET STREAMING REQUIREMENTS
Thank you for choosing GOLS for your streaming needs. To ensure a successful streaming experience, please fill out the form below, once you have reviewed the following requirements and guidelines for streaming at your location(s):
Hardware Requirements
– Hardline Wired Ethernet Connection(PREFERRED)
OR
– NON-PUBLIC Stable Wireless Wifi Network with 20% headroom on upload speeds – Avoid using shared networks with high traffic during streaming times.
Internet Connection
– Minimum Upload Speed: [10 Mbps] (PER STREAM)
– Recommended Upload Speed: [50 Mbps or higher] (PER STREAM) – USE LINK HERE TO TEST YOUR SPEED
Firewalls, Permissions, & Whitelisting
If your network is managed by a school district or government entity, PLEASE provide a point of contact in the IT department so we are able to communicate our needs for unblocking firewalls.
Unblocking these items isn’t necessarily required, but HIGHLY recommended to ensure the ability to create a smooth streaming experience over your network. Due to the amount of bandwidth needed for video streaming, if this is not completed, the feed is extremely unreliable.
